At Cottonwood Creek, we love celebrating the people (and pets!) who bring joy, energy and compassion to our community.

We’re proud to recognize our November Employee of the Month, Ethan, who truly embodies motivation in everything he does. He consistently takes initiative, strives for excellence and demonstrates a strong willingness to collaborate with our community partners. No matter the role he’s in, Ethan shows unwavering commitment to Cottonwood Creek’s mission and values.

This month’s Pet of the Month is Unicorn (Uni), whose sweet and spirited personality brings smiles to everyone she meets. Uni, thank you for being such a sweet girl and a joyful part of our Cottonwood Creek family.

Congratulations to Ethan and Uni! We’re grateful for the motivation, joy and connection you bring to our community. 💙

Our team at Cottonwood Creek is taking an important step to support patients as they transition back into the community. We’ve launched a new “Care Kit” initiative - backpacks filled with essentials like gloves and hats, hand warmers, water bottles, shelf-stable snacks, first aid kits, toiletries, and a curated list of local resources.

These bags are a small but meaningful way to help patients leave our hospital with safety, dignity, and support.

A special thank you to our colleagues at Haven Behavioral Hospital of Phoenix for sharing their program and helping us bring this idea to life here in Idaho.

This effort is part of our health equity work at Cottonwood Creek, and we’re grateful to our staff for coming together to make sure every patient has what they need for the next step in their journey.

This time of year always reminds us how meaningful it is when our team comes together with purpose. For the past few years, Cottonwood Creek has partnered with the Women's and Children's Alliance to support their holiday programs—either by sponsoring a family or contributing to the WCA Family Holiday Store.

Our staff has once again stepped up with generosity and heart, gathering gifts to help make the season a little brighter for a local families. It’s one of our favorite traditions because it reflects who we are: a team that cares deeply about our community and shows up for others when it matters most.

Thank you to the WCA for the incredible work they do year-round, and to our team for continuing to lead with compassion.

Many of our Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) patients begin to see changes in small but meaningful ways - more energy, more engagement, more connection to their lives and the people around them. For families, those moments matter.

If you or someone you know is struggling with severe depression or hasn’t responded to other treatments, our team can help.

We’re excited to share that our Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is now available in person in addition to our virtual option.

Families now have the flexibility to choose the format that works best - in person, virtual, or a blend of both - so teens can receive consistent, supportive care that fits their needs and schedules.

Our team is here to help adolescents build coping skills, strengthen emotional well-being, and receive structured support close to home.
