Today is International Stress Awareness Day, a global effort to raise awareness about the impact of stress on our mental and physical health.

While some stress is a natural part of life, ongoing or unmanaged stress can take a serious toll, contributing to anxiety, depression, sleep issues, and other health concerns. Recognizing the signs early and seeking support can make all the difference.

Cottonwood Creek Behavioral Hospital was glad to take part in the West Ada School District’s Drug Prevention Parent Education Night at Meridian High School.

Families heard from Officer Gomez on current substance use trends and what to look out for and explored the Hidden in Plain Sight trailer with the Meridian Anti-Drug Coalition - a powerful hands-on learning experience.

We appreciated the chance to connect with families over great food and meaningful conversations at our resource booth. Together, we can help protect and support our youth. 💙
