🩺 5 Things to Know About Cervical Cancer Screening 💜

Regular cervical cancer screenings are one of the best things you can do for your health.

Here’s what you need to know:

1️⃣ Start at 21 — Even if you’re not sexually active, screenings should begin at age 21.

2️⃣ It’s not one-size-fits-all — Screening can be done with a Pap smear, HPV test, or both, depending on your age and health history.

3️⃣ Timing matters — avoid scheduling your exam during your period, as it can affect testing.

4️⃣ The actual test usually takes less than 30 seconds. A small sample of cells is collected and sent to a lab to check for any changes.

5️⃣ Early detection saves lives — Cervical cancer is highly treatable when caught early. Screening can make all the difference.

✨ Prioritize you. Your health matters. And we’re here to walk with you every step of the way—with compassion, privacy, and real support.

💟 Schedule your Well-Woman Exam and cervical cancer screening today at no charge.

✨ Let’s Talk Mammograms ✨

A mammogram is a X-ray that helps detect early signs of breast cancer—often before symptoms appear. Early detection can save lives, and understanding your screening routine is an essential part of caring for your health.

What mammograms can detect:
✨ Breast cancer
✨ Abnormal lumps or masses
✨ Calcium deposits
✨ Early changes in breast tissue

When should you start?
According to the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF):
➡️ Begin screening at age 40
➡️ Repeat every 2 years through age 74
✨ If you're at high risk, your provider may recommend starting earlier or screening more frequently.
