It is with much gratitude to our patients that we announce Idaho Weight Loss will be closing at the end of February. Our last day for patient visits will be Thursday, February 19, 2026. Medication refills and pharmacy prescription refills will be provided until closing on Feb. 19. If you have an appointment scheduled after that date and you need to be seen one more time, please call our office at 208-343-3652 to reschedule. ⭐ June Employee Spotlight: Meet: Dr. Blythe Bartos ⭐
Dr. Blythe Bartos joined Idaho Weight Loss in August 2023. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and Obesity Medicine. Dr. Bartos is fluent in Spanish and is proud to support our Spanish-speaking community. With 3 children and a dog, it seems like she has experienced all the various recreational opportunities that Idaho has to offer. You might run into her skiing, hiking, camping, or indoor rock climbing. Dr. Michelle Freshwater has worked at Idaho Weight Loss since 2005 and owned the clinic since 2018. She is board certified in Family Medicine and Obesity Medicine. She has served as a Board Trustee of the Obesity Medicine Association and co-authored its Obesity Algorithm twice. Outside of the clinic this summer, you are most likely to run into her at a baseball or soccer field with her 2 children.
