Taking care of yourself is not a luxury, it is the foundation. When you are a high achieving woman or someone with high functioning anxiety it is so easy to pour into everything and everyone else first. Burnout is not a sign that you are weak it usually means you have been carrying too much for too long without support

Start small. Rest without guilt. Say no when you need to. Choose yourself in the quiet everyday moments

High functioning anxiety can look like having it all together on the outside while internally you’re overthinking, overextending, and people pleasing to keep everything stable.

Codependency often hides behind being the reliable one, the helper, the one who never drops the ball. But when your worth gets tied to how much you do for others, you slowly lose connection with yourself.

You’re allowed to have needs. You’re allowed to say no. You’re allowed to stop earning your place in people’s lives.

Save this as a reminder and share it with someone who always shows up for everyone else but forgets themselves.

Taste test but make it a family affair 🤍✨

Tried these zero sugar marshmallows from Max Mallow | Best-For-You Snacks from Walmart with my mom-in-law and my grandfather-in-law and let’s just say… we had opinions 😂🍬 From first bites to honest reactions, it was actually so fun seeing everyone’s take (and yes, they passed the test 👀).

I love finding little ways to enjoy sweet treats without all the sugar, and these are such an easy add to coffee, yogurt, or a cozy night snack ☕️

I went into expecting another perfume… and found fragrance milk instead 👀

It’s a totally different take on fragrance: alcohol-free, hydrating, and made with hyaluronic acid so it feels more like skincare than a traditional perfume. Plus the scent lasts all day.

Honestly, trying it for the first time was such a fun surprise because it melts right into your skin instead of feeling overpowering.

The hardest part about being a people pleaser or high-achieving woman with high functioning anxiety is thinking everyone’s opinion should matter more than your own.

But no matter what you do, someone will always have something to say.

So stop shrinking, stop overexplaining, and stop waiting for permission. Be yourself. Chase the thing. Set the boundary. Wear the outfit. Start over.

The people meant for you won’t need you to be less of who you are.

Small daily habits may not feel like much, but they add up more than you think.

If you are a high achieving woman with high functioning anxiety or people pleasing tendencies, it is easy to believe you have to change everything at once. But real change usually starts small: drinking your water, taking a short walk, saying no without overexplaining, giving yourself 10 minutes to breathe.

You do not have to do it all perfectly. Just keep showing up for yourself, one small habit at a time 🤍

I don’t have the energy anymore to be anything other than who I am, and honestly, that’s where things started to get better.

When you’ve spent so long being the people pleaser, the high achiever, the one who “has it all together,” it’s exhausting trying to keep up with versions of yourself that were built for everyone else.

If you have high functioning anxiety, you know the feeling… always doing more, being more, proving more, while quietly burning out.

At some point, you realize: peace > perfection.

If this resonates, maybe it’s time to start choosing yourself a little more this week 🤍
