Petals, prayer, and helping hands ✝️🌸

Our residents spent time together carefully assembling our Easter flower cross, reflecting on the true meaning of the season. Each flower placed on the cross is a beautiful reminder that from the sacrifice of the cross came the promise of new life, hope, and resurrection.

As hands reached out to pass blooms and fill the cross with color, it became more than a decoration. It became a symbol of faith, renewal, and the joy we share in celebrating our risen Savior.

What a blessing it is to prepare our hearts for Easter together.

“He is not here; He has risen, just as He said.” – Matthew 28:6

Stretching, smiling, and a little bit of wiggling — that’s how we do wellness at Aldersgate! 🧘‍♀️

Our residents enjoyed a refreshing session of chair yoga, proving that staying active doesn’t have to mean standing up or breaking a sweat. With gentle stretches, deep breaths, and lots of laughter, everyone got their bodies moving and their spirits lifted.

A few of our team members even pulled up a chair and joined in on the fun! Because around here, wellness is better when we do it together.

Who knew a chair could work so hard? 💪😊

🥢 Cooking Up Something Delicious at Aldersgate!
Today we had a wonderful time learning something new. Our talented Sous Chef Antonio and his assistant Wanda gave us a hands-on lesson in preparing Asian Pork Lo Mein, and it was both fun and flavorful.
Residents enjoyed watching the process, asking questions, and of course sampling the finished dish. Moments like these remind us that life at Aldersgate is about more than great meals—it’s about learning together, sharing talents, and building community.
A big thank you to Antonio and Wanda for sharing their skills and making the experience so enjoyable! 🥢
