Today our Aldersgate family came together to celebrate the incredible Joann Kleinpeter for her 90th birthday! From laughter and sweet treats to hugs and happy tears, it was a day filled with the kind of love that only community can bring.

Joann, your kindness, grace, and joyful spirit bless us all. You remind us that life is best lived with a smile, a little sass, and surrounded by people who love you. 💖

🐭❤️ Sending “Mouse Kisses” for Healthy Hearts! ❤️🐭

In honor of American Heart Month, our sweet residents at Aldersgate Retirement Community put their hearts (and a whole lot of love!) into creating the cutest little treats for the amazing team at Cardiovascular Institute of the South (CIS).

Each chocolate “kiss” was carefully bundled to look like tiny mice — complete with ears and tails — because nothing says “we appreciate you” like a handful of adorable mouse kisses! 🐁💋

To the dedicated staff at CIS, thank you for the care, compassion, and heart you show every single day. We’re so grateful for the way you look after our community — and we hope these little mouse kisses made you smile as much as you make us.

We’re looking for caring volunteers who enjoy community service — especially those who don’t mind getting a little sunshine and dirt on their hands! ☀️🌼

Our residents would love help with:

🌱 Light gardening
🍃 Sweeping and refreshing outdoor spaces
🌻 Planting flowers and spreading cheer
