On Thursday, we had the Meridian Library visit. Bethany & Jana spent the afternoon with our residents in Memory Care and they brought their record player, musical instruments for us to play, and read us wonderful stories.
Residents had the opportunity to listen, feel and watch and play while these lovely ladies read to them.

Our Idaho communities came together for a truly unforgettable experience. Veterans from Avista Garden City, Avista Nampa, Avista Twin Falls, and Spring Gardens Meridian were invited to take flight in a restored WWII-era bi-plane as part of this year’s Dream Flights event.
The smiles, stories, and emotions shared throughout the day made it something truly special. From the moment the engines started to the moment each veteran touched back down, you could feel the pride and joy in the air.
This video highlights the bravery of the men and women we’re honored to care for and captures the heartfelt moments that meant so much to their families, our teams, and our entire Avista community.
We’re grateful for the chance to celebrate these heroes in such a meaningful way.

Our resident, Kathy gave a wonderful testimonial presentation about her family background, living in Germany, her father's time at the concentration camp, when her family moved from Germany to Utah as a young girl, and then her marriage and move to Sacramento. Kathy even taught us a little German. Such a memorable moment to learn about our resident and their life journey.
