Retinal Changes Not Connected to COVID-19🦠
Unlike previously thought, a recent study shows ocular findings in patients who tested positive were brought on by pre-existing conditions.

“Importantly, in a subset of eyes with no pre-existing conditions (many of which were contralateral ‘healthy’ eyes in patients with monocular conditions such as rhegmatogenous retinal detachment or retinal vein occlusion), no findings that could be associated with COVID-19 were seen,” the study authors concluded. Happy New Year to our patient family! I know 2020 has been a crazy year for most all but we are looking forward to putting it in the past!

We have some exciting things happening in the Practice. We want to concentrate on bringing our patients the most advanced eye care available. We have upgraded all of our diagnostic equipment with the best there is on the market today! We are expanding our medical care especially with patients who have glaucoma. Nothing is as precious as your eyesight and it’s irreplaceable!

We want everyone to have a blessed 2021!

We are opened for business! Eye exams will be limited so we won’t have too many people in the office at once. We have taken precautions to ensure safety in our office. Dr Clark is not ready to open the office just yet. He wants to give it another week. I will open on May 4th. We will begin to see regular patients starting on May 11. Of course we are available for emergencies. We rather be safe than sorry! Stay safe!!
