Front staff/Medical Assistant position:

Total Care Adult Health, NP, PLLC is looking for an energetic, friendly, reliable, responsible person to join our fast growing primary care medical practice. We are located in North Merrick. FT/PT positions available.
Responsibilities include:
Answering phone calls
Scheduling and confirming appointments
Collecting copays and balances,
bringing patients to exam rooms
Basic vital signs such as weight, height, temp, HR and O2 sat
Cleaning the room after each patient and preparing the room for the next patient
Vision tests
Specimen handling
Restocking rooms
Keep track of supplies in office
Keeping the office clean at all times
Must be computer literate. All our charting and scheduling are through our EMR.
Phlebotomy and EKG skills a plus but not mandatory
Will train the right person!

This job is perfect for nursing students or PA students looking to gain hands-on experience or anyone who is looking for a healthcare carreer.

Responsibilities include scheduling, confirming appointments. checking insurance eligibility, and other administrative duties. Must have excellent work ethic, must be responsible and dependable and must have excellent customer service. This individual must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. This is a full-time position. Will train with EMR.

Immediate opening for a full time highly and self motivated medical office assistant for a brand new primary care practice in North Merrick. Responsibilities include answering phones, scheduling appointments, checking insurance verification and eligibility, ordering supplies, maintaining office, checking patients in and out, calling patients into the exam rooms and preparing patients to be seen by provider. Must have excellent customer service skills. Must be computer literate. We use electronic medical records. Experience a plus but not necessary. Will train the right individual.
