Innovations in Learning, PC prides itself in using empirically based interventions with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Programs offered include an Intensive ABA program for children starting as young as two years, Adult Day Services for adults over the age of 18. Behavior therapy services under the Indiana Medicaid Waiver program, as well as outpatient therapy services. Innovations in Learning, PC also provides a wide variety of psychological and neuropsychological assessment services for children, adolescents, and adults. We are posting to make you aware of potential changes to ABA services in Indiana that could impact the delivery of ABA services in the future. Following the OIG audit of ABA providers, the Governor ordered the creation of the ABA Workgroup. This Workgroup met throughout the summer and provided its recommendations to the Governor. These recommendations are expected to be published next week.

In preparation for advocacy needs following the recommendations, InPEAT (Indiana Providers for Effective ABA Treatment) is collecting a data base that will be used for grass roots advocacy. We strongly encourage all providers and family members to use the link below to join the group and be informed of pending changes and advocacy activities.

Our Story

Innovations In Learning, PC, is a multi-faceted agency. We provide intensive ABA services to children with Autism and related disorders and Behavior Management therapy to individuals in the Waiver program, Day Services for adults with disabilities as well as outpatient services for children and adults including individual and group therapy. In all areas of our work we take pride in using empirically based interventions. We develop objective and measurable goals that allow close monitoring of treatment efficacy. Our intensive ABA program is located at our main center in Merrillville and our Michigan City location. Our Adult Day Services are located at our main center in Merrillville.
