A big thank you to the YMCA Allard Center of Goffstown “Sewing for a Cause” volunteers for their incredible donation 💙

They dropped off a beautiful collection of handmade lap quilts, shawls, dignity covers, fidget mats, fingerless fleece gloves, marble mazes, and pillows. We are so grateful for their creativity and the many ways they support our patients with comfort and care.

✨ Stahl Excellence in Service Award – February ✨

Congratulations to Denise Paradise, Hospice RN, our February award winner!

Denise’s colleagues describe her as “an angel in disguise” who makes every patient feel cared for and comforted. Even patients who are known to be hard to win over adore her. One teammate shared, “We’d be so lost without her.” Another said, “She truly has a calling for what she does.”

When asked about Denise, one patient simply blew a kiss and called her an angel.

Denise, thank you for the compassion and dedication you bring to our patients and team every day.

Love was definitely in the air (and the kitchen) this weekend.

Our Hospice House cook, Regina, teamed up with one of our amazing volunteers to whip up a batch of Valentine’s treats for patients, families, and staff to enjoy. From chocolate-dipped pretzels to heart-shaped cookies and other sweet surprises, their kindness added an extra sprinkle of comfort and joy to the weekend.

Our team had a delicious time celebrating our annual Souper Bowl! 🥣

Our Employee Engagement Committee brought the fun (and the flavor!) with nine homemade soups, with five of our nine soup makers pictured here, for a staff potluck lunch. From cozy classics to creative favorites, there was something for everyone, plus plenty of Panera Bread and sweet treats to go around.

Behind every note of comfort is someone who cares deeply. 💛

Kathie McIntyre, a dedicated volunteer and board member, spends time each week hand-writing sympathy cards to support our bereavement department and the families we serve. Each message is a small but meaningful reminder that they are not alone in their grief.

Deeply connected to our community, Kathie also gives her time to serve her church and support other local nonprofits, always finding ways to show up for others.
