Sometimes what feels like a “chakra block” is also a nervous system pattern.

When the nervous system is dysregulated, energy centers often reflect it:

🔴 Root — Survival mode, financial fear, instability (Linked to chronic fight-or-flight activation)

🟠 Sacral — Creative shutdown, emotional numbness (Often seen when the system swings into freeze)

🟡 Solar Plexus — Control, perfectionism, self-doubt (Common in high-achievers with sympathetic overdrive)

💚 Heart — Over-giving, difficulty receiving
(A protective adaptation when vulnerability feels unsafe)

🔵 Throat — Tight jaw, suppressed expression
(A nervous system pattern of inhibition)

🟣 Third Eye — Racing thoughts, over analysis
(Associated with heightened cortical arousal)

🤍 Crown - Mental fog, Feeling disconnected from self and others, struggling with a sense of purpose. This center shuts down when individuals focus solely on survival.

Every ache, tension, or imbalance can be a signal shaped by your history, your stress, your experiences.

Instead of ignoring it, what if you listened?

Pain can be a nudge toward what’s ready to be acknowledged, supported, and healed.

Not something to fear but something to understand.

Slow down.

Turn inward .

Your body isn’t working against you….

The Body is Mirrored in the Feet (and Hands)

Reflexologists see the feet, hands, and ears as "maps" of the body.

Specific reflex points on the feet correspond to organs, glands, and systems (toes = head/sinuses; arches = digestive system; heels = lower back/pelvis).

Applying pressure to these points may;

Stimulate nerve endings connected to internal organs.

Encourage energy flow (Qi or life force) through meridians, neural pathways & zones.

Reflexology divides the body into 10 longitudinal zones from head to toe.
Each toe represents a zone.

The theory is that blockages in these zones can be cleared through specific pressure points, improving function and flow throughout the body.

The goal / intention with Reflexology is to help the body self-regulate and return to homeostasis / balance.

How do you breathe?

Mouth breathing may seem harmless, but over time it can negatively affect your health.

Breathing through the nose filters, warms, and humidifies the air while helping regulate oxygen intake and nitric oxide production.

Nose breathing supports better sleep, calmer nervous system function, stronger immunity, and improved focus.

Chronic mouth breathing can lead to dry mouth, bad breath, snoring, poor sleep, fatigue, anxiety, dental issues, and even changes in posture or facial development over time.

It can also keep the body in a more stressed state, encouraging shallow breathing patterns.

Your breath is powerful medicine.

If you notice frequent mouth breathing,
congestion, snoring, or daytime fatigue, it may be worth exploring the root cause and learning healthier breathing habits.

Breathe through your nose whenever possible …..your body was designed for it.

Lately, I’ve been noticing a trend with many of my clients…

People are becoming more open &
more curious about going deeper into their healing journey.

I’m incredibly grateful for the trust my clients place in me.

So often, someone comes in for reflexology or a massage, and together we explore something new whether that’s craniosacral work, myofascial release, emotion code, breathwork, Access Bars, Indian head massage… or whatever I’m currently learning. (lol)

That willingness to try, to explore, to say “yes” to something different is where so much growth happens.
