As one of Brevard County's oldest medical practices, Merritt Island Foot and Ankle opened it's 1st location in the mid 1980's at 2404 N. Due to overwhelming and popular demand, our 2nd medical office opened its doors; though this location has since moved to "Brevard Medical City" at 6549 N Wickham Road, Suite 103E, Melbourne, Fl 32940 (in the back of the complex behind "Smile Suntree Dentistry"). MEET OUR DOCTOR'S:

-Dr. Mark Beylin
PODIATRIST, BOARD CERTIFIED PODIATRIC PHYSICIAN & SURGEON
Dr. Beylin focuses on all aspects of foot and ankle care and surgery, especially trauma, reconstructive surgery, Charcot surgery, ankle joint replacement surgery, and workers compensation cases. Dr. Mark Beylin attended and graduated from the University of Miami with a B.A. After completing his undergraduate studies, he enrolled at Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine where he excelled through the years earning a spot in Phi Delta National Honor Society and graduating in the top 10% of his class. EDUCATION & TRAINING
Dr. Beylin then did a three-year surgical training at Northwest Medical Center serving as chief resident the last two years there. His post graduate training offered him a great deal of exposure to a vast variety of medical and surgical treatments of foot, ankle, and lower leg pathology. His particular interests are in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, sports medicine, trauma, pediatrics, Charcot foot reconstruction, and diabetic foot care. Dr. Beylin is one of a few surgeons in Central Florida who is trained on both the In-Bone and STRYKER ankle joint replacement. Dr. Beylin has been practicing for the last twenty one years and in Brevard County since 2008. He was a partner and as of 2015 he is now the owner of Merritt Island Foot and Ankle, Inc, offering people in our county his medical expertise.


-Dr. Kaitlyn A. Hammock
Dr. Hammock focuses on all aspects of foot and ankle care and surgery including trauma, reconstructive surgery, Charcot reconstruction surgery and ankle joint replacement surgery. Dr. Hammock attended and graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a B.S. in 2017. After completing her undergraduate studies she enrolled at the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine and Science where she excelled, earning a spot in Phi Delta National Podiatric Medical Honor Society. Dr. Hammock’s postgraduate training was completed at AdventHealth East Orlando. Dr. Hammock is Board qualified in foot and reconstructive rear foot and ankle surgery. Dr. Hammock is a member of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery
