Here is the latest information on Tropical Depression 9. The new official forecast from NOAA NWS National Hurricane Center curves the storm away from the coast earlier. As a result, the chance for a landfall along the southeast coast is decreasing. Rain chances persist Monday and Tuesday, especially over southern portions of the area, but probabilities for heavy rainfall are steadily decreasing. Please continue to monitor for the latest information.

💔 Our hearts are heavy after the tragic ambulance wreck in Chesapeake, VA on Sept. 22.

EMT Skye Oraczewski and Paramedic Stephen Anderson of MMT Ambulance(based out of Elizabeth City) were involved when a wrong-way driver struck their unit head-on. Sadly, Skye and a Stephen have lost their lives.

Please keep their families, coworkers, and the EMS community in your thoughts during this difficult time. 🚑🙏
