Here’s our exciting list of traveling races for this month that we are taking students to! 🏁
We truly LOVE taking our students to races and helping you grow as competitors. Watching confidence build and goals get bigger is why we do this 🤍
With that being said — after a few chaotic travel seasons, we are emphasizing and enforcing a few rules. These are in place for the safety of our horses, our students, and the sanity of our instructors.
Our horses will always be our #1 priority. Keeping them competitive, sound, happy, and healthy matters just as much as keeping our students safe and set up for success.
We also apologize for the lack of traveling earlier this year. Outside quarantines prevented us from hitting the road, and we will never risk our horses’ health just to make a race. Thank you for understanding and supporting that standard.
✨ Traveling Race Guidelines ✨
• We do not charge coaching fees to attend races. However, there is a flat $25 per student that goes toward diesel. Our truck hauling a loaded trailer goes through a lot of fuel, and this simply helps offset that cost.
• Only the following horses will be traveling (with minor exceptions when building confidence):
Slider, Tater Tot, Ghost, Addy, Missy, Callie, Buckwheat, Lilo, Prada (Ollie, Laudy, others minor exceptions).
This ensures our students are competing at the right level and our horses stay happy and competitive. If you are not confidently running one of these horses yet, please speak with your instructor about goals and continuing student races.
• All students traveling must be fully independent with tacking up, warming up, running, cooling off, and general horse care. Travel races are not the time for full assistance.
• Students must stay for the entire race (or until Az Rodeo Ready leaves). If you are racing, you are expected to be present with your horse from beginning to end.
We are excited to get back on the road and represent Az Rodeo Ready with professionalism, responsibility, and solid horsemanship. Let’s go have some great runs 🐎🔥 Please text us if you would like to attend any of the following races!

New official dates! We heard you all about spring break and clinics, here are the new dates!

Everyone’s been asking! Since our fall series dragged on for so long, we ran into our spring series, but DONT WORRY, we’re gonna fit one in before the heat!!! And its gonna be the REAL DEAL!! 💸💰

This series is the REAL DEAL!!! Everyone is racing for their own custom SADDLE! 🎉There will be one saddle awarded to the closest average time to our target time(will be kept a secret till finals🤫) and we’re making it the real deal!! Knocked barrels will be a no time! But don’t worry, everyone is still encouraged to race! Target time will be achievable and will be drawn out of hat before finals begins😉
