Fun fact Friday!!! Did you know horses have one of the largest eyes of any land mammal.
Their eyes are about 5 cm (2 inches) across — bigger than an elephant’s!
This gives them almost 350° of vision, meaning they can see nearly all around them without moving their heads.
However, they do have two blind spots: directly in front of their nose and directly behind their tail.
That’s why it’s smart to approach a horse from the side, not from behind or straight in front.
