1. Check their social media & posts, do they seem professional?
2. Look for genuine reviews from students who’ve completed rotations.
3. Verify they have a professional website for their clinical site.
4. Be cautious if they ask for upfront payments or unusual payment methods like cash or gift cards.
5. Always ask for a contract that protects you if things go wrong.
6. Be wary of preceptors only communicating via WhatsApp or DMs.
