Collaborator's Corner: Tina Alexander, owner of IntegraLife is passionate about integrating nutrition, physical activity, adequate sleep, proper hydration, and stress management to help individuals achieve optimal health. She completed her B.S. in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of New Mexico. Her dedication stems from a family history of diabetes and heart disease, which inspired her to become a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist, earn a Certificate in Obesity and Weight Management, and become a Certified Trauma Specialist in Nutrition and Integrative Care.

At Integralife, Tina works compassionately with clients to address chronic disease management, weight management, weight loss resistance due to hormonal imbalances, and mental health challenges, including depression and anxiety, through nutrition and lifestyle.

Check out Stephanie's interview on AZ Family discussing the negative impact of late-night eating.

Eating within 2-3 hours of bedtime greatly affects the quality of your deep sleep which mainly happens within the first part of the night. When you are still digesting food at bedtime, you are unable to fall into a deep sleep until your food is fully digested. Late night snacking can also lead to indigestion and acid reflux.

Integralife specializes in Lifestyle Medicine in which we work with individuals that have sleep disorders ensuring that we are making optimal decisions to assist in a quality sleep cycle.

We were able to assist, Telemundo Arizona on Friday provide dietitian insight on Nutrition for Colon Cancer. Our own Jaclyn Bart MS, RDN, CDCES, CSO provided her expertise in guiding the New Station in nutrition as related to cancer. Jaclyn is such a trooper with only a one hour notice, she was willing to take time to be interviewed during her lunch break. We love Jaclyn and so glad she is part of the Integralife Family.
