Americare Hospice & Palliative Care Americare Hospice & Palliative Care is a Catholic organization approved by the Diocese of Phoenix.

We are uniquely owned and locally operated by a family of Registered Nurses. State licensed and Medicare certified, we offer our comprehensive services Valley wide. We have consistently proven our outstanding performance with 100% deficiency-free routine surveys by Medicare and the Department of Health since our inception in 2005. Our patient satisfaction ratings affirm our phenomenal care with more than 98% of respondents reporting they would recommend Americare Hospice. Our comprehensive hospice services are provided by an interdisciplinary team of compassionate professionals. Our core team includes home-visiting physicians, skilled hospice nurses, clinical social workers, chaplains, hospice aides, specially-trained volunteers, and grief counselors. We also offer physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, dietary consultation, and complementary therapies such as pet, massage, and music therapy. A hospice consultation to discuss the philosophy, criteria, and services of Americare Hospice & Palliative Care is done to inform the patient and caregivers and see if hospice is right for them. The patient’s physician gives confirmation of the patient’s life-limiting illness. Once enrolled under hospice, a nurse will come to do the admission visit and initiate the plan of care with the patient, family, and team.

What a joyful day celebrating our annual Christmas party and two decades of caring, serving, and growing together. From laughter and good food to shared memories and well-earned gratitude, our 20th Anniversary celebration was a beautiful reminder that our greatest gift has always been our people.

✨Thanksgiving Potluck with Our Hospice Family ✨

There’s something truly beautiful about gathering around one table—physician, nurses, aides, chaplains, office staff, families, and little ones—each person bringing a dish, a smile, and that spirit of service that defines who we are.

Today’s potluck was a reminder of the kindness that fills our halls, the dedication that carries us through long days, and the loyalty of team members who have stood with us since our humble startup 20 years ago. Their faithfulness is the heartbeat of our mission.

In hospice, we walk with families through some of life’s most tender moments—and we do it together, shoulder to shoulder, heart to heart. I’m grateful beyond words for this remarkable team who shows up not only with skill, but with compassion that can’t be taught.
