Before I became a mom, I worked 24-hour shifts on an ambulance and honestly had a really hard time picturing how I would work and have a baby. I have so much respect for the parents who work those long shifts and then go home and are still fully “on” for their families.

Making a career change was one of the hardest decisions of my life, but I wouldn’t have this little guy otherwise.

I love sharing the things I enjoy with him and hope one day he finds joy in them too.

Being a working mom can be really hard sometimes, but getting to bring him with me is pretty cool 🥰

Looking a little crazy post workout haha. Had some time to explain a little bit of my pain journey.

Shoulder pain and really any pain is no joke, and is also NOT normal. We are not meant to live in pain.

Taking care of your body is crucial to moving and staying healthy for the long term. I kept putting myself in the back burner. I am now paying for it and playing catch up.

I have been really mad at my body and that isn’t what is going to heal me. What is, is getting movement in, getting regular bodywork, and re-balancing my nervous system.

Anyway, hope you guys have a good day!! And make time to take care of yourself too 🫶🏼

I like to set intentions for the year and wanted to share!

Balance: I struggle with boundaries in my personal life as well as work. I am trying to be more intentional with my time and having boundaries around how many days/hours I work. As well as who and how I spend my time!

Save: I would love to start contributing into my retirement again. Starting a business and life things happening have put a hold on that. I can live in the scarcity mindset and am learning that the abundance mindset brings so much more joy, peace, and money 😜

Self-care: Becoming a Mom has put this in the back burner. I have a lot of guilt when I am away from my son even though the things I do to take care of myself make me a better Mom! So letting go of that guilt and putting time into myself even if it’s only a 10 min workout.

I would love to hear what your intentions and/or goals are!
