Home Birth Midwife
In-Home prenatal & extensive postpartum care I am an experience birth worker.

My passion is to educate and support women/families throughout pregnancy and the birth experience. My favorite part of birth is witnessing the power and strength of a woman and seeing her empowered and her confidence taken to a whole new level. To understand that the only certainty in birth is that it is unpredictable, just as no two women are the same no two births are the same. I will encourage you plan with caution to have the birth experience that is right for you, so you can enter into this part of your life making safe educated decisions about your body and your baby that represent who you are! I am an addition to your birth team. I will not make decisions for you, I will help educate you so you can advocate for yourself...
My hope is that this site would give you a glimpse into who I am and what I do.. So give me a call so we can chat..

💔 You are not alone.

At Embrace, we hold space for every part of your story — even the ones that ache the most.

Our midwives are on call to walk beside you through loss, offering gentle support, prayer, and a listening ear when words fall short.

🩶We help families find meaningful ways to honor their baby’s memory — through keepsakes, burial options, or quiet moments of reflection.

🩶We believe in nurturing the body and the heart, providing meals for your family, and connecting you with resources and community for continued care.

🩶Every loss matters. Every baby is remembered. 🌿
You are seen. You are loved. You are embraced. 🤍

🌊✨
Each contraction rises and falls like the waves of the ocean — powerful, rhythmic, and full of divine purpose. Like the sea guided by the moon, your labor is guided by God’s perfect design. Every wave builds strength, bringing new life to shore.
Breathe. Surrender. Trust the tide within you — your body knows the way, and you are never alone in these sacred waters. 💫

Close your eyes, listen and breathe with each wave.
You have everything you need within you to make it through. 🩶

Resharing this from because I love it so much and can relate to every word.

Home birth midwives aren’t there in case something goes wrong. We’re there to help prevent those situations from happening in the first place.

Our training, intuition, and ongoing assessment throughout pregnancy and labor are all about creating and maintaining safety, long before an emergency ever arises.

This feels very important to share.

I love what she says that “It’s not home birth at all costs.” That is not the goal for a home birth midwife. Our goal is a safe birth, which generally does happen at home, but at other times a higher level of care may be needed.

We see this as more than just the birth, which is why we offer such comprehensive and individualized prenatal care. We get to know you on a much deeper level, which helps us provide even better care to you on your birthing day.

Thank you so much for sharing 🙌🏼

Your body is literally building a human 👊🏼 and protein is what helps make that possible! Aiming for at least 80g of protein a day (and sometimes more in the 2nd and 3rd trimesters) is ideal.

Here’s why it matters -
▪️Supports baby’s growth and development
▪️Helps maintain healthy blood volume and placenta function
▪️Balances blood sugar and energy levels
▪️ Keeps you feeling fuller, stronger, and more stable
▪️ Reduce risk of developing preeclampsia

Protein is so important in pregnancy! Share your favorite way to get in protein to help a mama out below ⬇️

Things that might surprise you about your new baby ⬇️

🌸 Peeling skin and baby acne, totally normal.
🌸 Erratic breathing, it can be some quick breaths and then a pause and then quick again, etc.
🌸 They want to be held and close to you often, you regulate their breathing, temperature and heart rate.
🌸 They’re born with reflexes to help them find the breast and feed.
🌸 They nurse for comfort, not just hunger.

Your baby is learning how to live in the world outside the womb, and you’re learning each other. Be gentle with both of you 🩶

October holds space for remembrance.. for the babies we carry in our hearts instead of our arms. Too many families fall into this space, and if you are one of them this is for you. 🤍

You are seen, you are loved, and your baby’s story matters. 🕯️

After birth, a midwife’s care continues, slow, intentional, and rooted in respect for the new life before her.

Each newborn exam is tender and thorough, honoring both the sacredness and science of those first hours earthside.

Tiny fingers counted, heart listened to, reflexes checked, all while baby stays close to their family.
It’s not a rush or a routine. It’s a reverent pause to marvel at the perfection of new life. 🩶

Body work in pregnancy 🤰🏽

Pregnancy is a season of transformation; physically, emotionally, and spiritually. As your body grows and adapts, it holds and carries so much. Bodywork can be a beautiful way to support yourself through these changes.

Benefits of bodywork in pregnancy:
▫️ Eases tension in the back, hips, and pelvis
▫️ Encourages relaxation and better sleep
▫️ Improves circulation and reduces swelling
▫️ Supports alignment as your posture shifts
▫️ Creates a moment of stillness to connect with your baby

Whether through massage, chiropractic care, acupuncture, craniosacral therapy, or gentle stretching and movement, bodywork honors the work your body is already doing!

How were you supported postpartum?

Within midwifery care we are checking in on you as a whole person - not just checking for physical healing, but also your heart, sleep, feeding journey and this new transition as a family.

Postpartum is not meant to be a 1 time visit check in at 6 weeks.

This is where my passion is and I pour into my postpartum mamas. This is such a delicate and beautiful time that requires more than we realize.

You should feel seen, held, and supported. Postpartum isn’t about “making it through” we want you to thrive! 🩶
