Morning confession...

What's the object you would really really hate to not have available to you any longer?

I just love when I find little cool stuff like this!

The gel that is in the diaper to absorb liquid got out! Nothing to worry about. Just wipe them off!

Hold baby upright for 30 minutes after every feeding.”

⚫️Exhausting.
⚫️ Often unnecessary.
⚫️And not how human digestion actually works.

Gentle pressure on the abdomen (think: tummy-to-tummy, babywearing, chest contact, or this position on the arm) helps move gas and milk through the gut FAR better than stiff upright holding.

Movement + compression = digestion.

Instead of freezing in a chair for half an hour every feed, try positions that support baby’s body the way it was designed to work.
Better comfort now. Better gut function long-term.

Your arms can rest. Your baby can digest. Everybody wins.

In the first 6–8 weeks, babies should be pooping multiple times a day. This tells us milk is moving through, digestion is happening, and the system is doing its job.

After those early weeks, it’s normal for things to slow down a bit—but healthy digestion still means regular, daily stools. Babies aren’t meant to “hold it” or be constipated for days at a time. Neither are adults.

P**p frequency is information. If it’s changing, missing, or causing discomfort, it’s worth paying attention to. Your baby’s body is always communicating—we just have to listen.

-and no, breastmilk is not "all used up" and even if it was true, there is a by-product to digestion, and that still needs to come out!
