Blue Cactus ABA is a small but mighty clinic rooted in high quality data, compassion, and fun.

We provide evidence-based ABA for children with Autism ages 18 months–18 years in home and in clinic.

At Blue Cactus, we believe that to provide the best care for our clients, we have to stay curious. Our entire team was up bright and early this morning for the Annual ABAI Behavior Technician Virtual Conference! 🌵✨

We spent the day diving deep into some incredible sessions led by PhD-level BCBAs, covering:
✅ Enhancing Engagement
✅ Overcoming communication barriers
✅ Structured teaching strategies
✅ Elevating the RBT role
✅ & Compassionate care

We’re heading back to our sessions feeling inspired and ready to bring these new skills to our amazing kiddos. 💙 We also had lots of fun treats to keep our brains alert! 🍕🍩🍬

Meet our wonderful RBT, Makayla! Makayla has been with Blue Cactus since November 2025 and has been a wonderful addition to the team. Her favorite thing about ABA is the opportunity to watch kiddos grow and she loves cultivating meaningful relationships here at Blue Cactus. When she’s not teaching kiddos new skills, you will find her playing Sims and spending time with her cat. Thankful to have her with us!

Meet our amazing RBT, Elaine. This is her second year working in the ABA field but has over 16 years experience working in public school Special Education programs. She plans to continue learning and loving her learners for years to come. Some of her favorite parts of ABA are learning every day and she greatly appreciates how she feels like family at Blue Cactus. When she is not teaching new skills, she loves to watch sports with her family, attend concerts and music festivals, and collect everything Wizards of Oz. Elaine is a ray of sunshine at Blue Cactus ABA!

Meet our lovely RBT, Maeve! Maeve is currently studying Psychology at Arizona State University and is planning on becoming a BCBA in the future. Her favorite thing about ABA is hearing big belly laughs from kiddos when they are playing and having fun. Here at Blue Cactus, she loves the comprehensive training and high standards for RBTs. She feels ready for anything that comes her way and has learned so much while being with us. When she is not working with kiddos, she loves to read, swim, and ride her motorcycle. We love having Maeve on our team!

Meet Bailey, our registered behavior technician and supervisor in training! Bailey received her bachelor degree in integrative health from Arizona State University. Now, Bailey is attending Arizona State University again to receive her master degree in Applied Behavior Analysis. Bailey loves being a part of Blue Cactus because of how involved she feels with the analysis of data, our clients’ progress, and the consistent training. Her favorite thing about the field is helping her clients self-advocate and better understand their needs. Bailey is a huge asset to our team here at BCA 💙🌵
