We had a special breakfast this morning with our Veteran seniors at Fellowship Square Historic Mesa in Arizona.

Men and women came together over shared stories and experiences, finding laughter and joy in even the simplest moments. It was a great example of the bonds that unite us and the strength found in connection.

We greatly appreciate Navy Commander (Retired) Dr. Carl Forkner from the AZ DAV East Valley Chapter 8 for providing an informative update on VA pension benefits, survivors’ benefits, and presumptive illnesses related to VA claims. As a reminder, we encourage all Veterans to never pay for VA claim support, please reach out to DAV for FREE, trusted assistance.

Special thanks to Kathy Highland and the Fellowship Square team for creating a welcoming space for our Veterans to connect over a meal. We’re also grateful to our dedicated volunteers for helping our Veteran seniors feel seen, heard, and remembered.

Join us for our “Spring Fling” Resident Appreciation Event next Tuesday, March 31st at 5:00 PM in the Center Dining Room! We’re celebrating YOU with an evening full of delicious treats, great music, and plenty of dancing. 💃🕺

Every table will be treated to a beautiful charcuterie board to share, and our featured cocktail of the evening is a refreshing cucumber mule — available with or without alcohol so everyone can enjoy! 🍹🥒

The night wouldn’t be complete without live entertainment, so get ready to hit the dance floor as entertainer Rossi Ross brings the music and the energy! 🎶🎤 Whether you want to dance, relax with friends, or just enjoy the lively atmosphere, this is one event you won’t want to miss.
