1. The dairy protein triggers an immune response

At least 90% of the people I test don’t tolerate dairy - it’s driving their eczema, asthma, brain fog, inflammation, and hormone issues.

2. Delayed inflammatory response

Shows up 24-72 hours later as brain fog, joint pain, skin issues, fatigue. You never connect it to the yogurt.

3. Highly acidic and inflammatory

Your labs say “normal” but you feel terrible.

What are they missing?

“Normal” labs don’t mean you’re healthy - they mean standard testing doesn’t assess gut health.

Why do you feel guilty for resting?

You took a nap and woke up thinking about the laundry you didn’t do.

You watched a movie and felt like you wasted time.

You said no to helping someone and spent the whole day wondering if they hate you now.

Rest doesn’t feel peaceful. It feels like failure.

Here’s why:

Somewhere along the way, you learned a lie:
“Your worth comes from what you DO, not who you ARE.”

And that lie became the lens through which you see everything:

Rest = LazinessBoundaries = SelfishnessNeeds = WeaknessSaying no = Letting people down

You’ve internalized: “I only matter when I’m useful.”

So you say yes when you’re drowning.

You push through exhaustion to prove you’re capable.

You abandon your own needs to meet everyone else’s.

And the guilt follows you everywhere.

This is the “not enough” wound destroying your peace.

You are not this guilt.

Your soul is trying to get your attention—to tell you that this belief is a lie.

The guilt is your soul saying:

“The belief that you only matter when you’re useful is destroying your peace. Please heal this.”

The truth your soul knows:
You don’t have to earn your worth.You matter because you exist, not because of what you do.

Rest isn’t laziness. It’s sacred.Boundaries aren’t selfish.

They’re self-honoring.

But you can’t believe that until the wound heals.

October 18th we’re healing the “not enough” wound at its spiritual root—so guilt transforms into permission and you finally feel worthy of rest.

When that wound heals:

MEMOIR OF A HOLISTIC NUTRITIONIST

After my first child was born in 1997, I was hospitalized with an E-Coli infection. It would have killed me if it weren’t for the bags and bags of antibiotics that were drip fed into my blood stream over the course of the following week. Shortly after that health crisis, the anxiety set in.

It started out slowly, with sudden onsets of mild panic that centered on our new baby’s well-being. I was constantly fatigued and went back to the doctor on numerous occasions trying to figure out what was wrong but was constantly told that I was just a new mom and that new moms are exhausted. I came to my own conclusion that something with my hormones must be out of whack, chalked it up to the new parent thing and tried to carry on with life.

When our little one turned 6 months old, we were shocked to find out that we were expecting again, this time with twins. They were born at 32 weeks in July of 1998. My weight crashed as I spent the first 9 months of their life breastfeeding and needless to say, my body was more or less drained.
