Recreational Horizons, a nonprofit organization, for more than 45 years has provided unique travel experiences for intellectually disabled participants.

Recreational Horizons is a non-profit 501 organization that provides trips to ambulatory intellectually disabled students and adults who are capable of communicating their wants, needs, and concerns.

Amtrak, Six Flags Magic Mountain, and Hollywood Trip
Spring Break 2019, participants took an amazing trip up the California coast on Amtrak, stopping in San Barbara to visit their zoo and aquarium. They enjoyed a day full of fun and excitement at Six Flags Magic Mountain. On the last day, participants took a walk down Hollywood’s world-famous Walk of Fame and visited Madame Tussaud’s Hollywood wax museum. Finally, they also took in the sights while on a tour of the movie stars homes in both Hollywood Hills and Beverly Hills.

San Diego Zoo, California Adventure, and Disneyland Trip
October Trip 2019, participants took a fantastic trip to visit the animals at the San Diego Zoo before spending the next two days full of fun and excitement at California Adventure and Disneyland.
