See below for more information about the study.
Hello,
My name is Dr. Briana Snyder, and I am a faculty member in the Department of Nursing at Towson University. I am a board-certified psychiatric-mental health nurse and board-certified hospice nurse. I am writing to invite you to participate in a research study about perceptions of death and dying among individuals with dissociative disorders. All participants must have a current diagnosis of a dissociative disorder (i.e., dissociative amnesia, depersonalization/derealization disorder, dissociative identity disorder, other unspecified dissociative disorder), be 18 years or older, have access to the internet, and be able to read and understand English.
If you decide to participate, you will be asked to complete an anonymous, online survey about your perceptions of death and dying. The entire survey should take approximately 20 minutes to complete. At the end of the survey, you may choose to participate in a one-on-one virtual interview with me to share more about your experiences, but this is not required. To begin the anonymous survey, please click the link below:

Remember, this is completely voluntary. You can choose to be in the study or not. Institutional review board (IRB) approval for this study was granted by the Towson University IRB (protocol # 3097). If you have any questions about the study, please email me at blsnyder@towson.edu.
Thank you very much, and please share this research opportunity with others who may be eligible.
Sincerely,
Briana L. Snyder, PhD, RN, PMH-BC, CHPN, CNE
