Join us Tuesday, Dec. 2 for the annual tree lighting at Christmas on the Square. 🎄

The holiday market will be filled with some of your favorite Downtown Mesquite Farmers Market vendors, and will be bringing their charm to the Square!

The fun begins at 5 p.m. with free cocoa and cookies while supplies last, Santa visiting with the kids, holiday music, and a joyful performance by the Stage Door Dance Studio students at 5:30 p.m.

Then at 6 p.m., we will come together for the tree lighting ceremony. Mayor Dan Aleman will kick things off, followed by the Poteet Variety Choir singing “12 Days of Downtown Mesquite.”

City Council and MISD student representatives will gather on stage to press the button that lights our Christmas tree for the first time this season.

Free Downtown Mesquite ornaments will be available while supplies last!

Visit Mesquite's Visitor Center will be open for business and will also have a photo booth on site. 📸
