CDC concisely highlights 5 points we should be aware of about TB. Many people think that tuberculosis (TB) is a disease of the past - an illness that no longer threatens us today. This CDC video below highlights the continuing problem of tuberculosis (TB) in the United States and encourages us to take action by visiting the CDC TB website and getting tested for TB infection if you or loved ones are at risk.

1. Anyone can get TB.
2. TB is not a disease of the past….up to 13 million in the U.S. may have latent TB, with 5-10% developing TB.
3. TB can happen anywhere.
