In honor of National Volunteer Appreciation Month, we’re celebrating two incredible hearts who make a big impact! Dustin and Alesio began their journey with Anvoi Hospice while still in high school, simply looking to give back – and they never stopped. Since 2019 their compassion has touched countless lives through everything from supporting patients at the bedside to helping families, assisting staff, and showing up wherever they’re needed most.

From mowing lawns and preparing patient supplies to participating in bereavement programs, memorials, community events, and even sharing meaningful moments through crafts, their impact goes far beyond service hours – it’s pure kindness in action.

Dustin and Alesio, your dedication inspires us all. Thank you for being the heart of what we do!

Hospice is about a higher quality of life. The goal is to provide patients with comfort and dignity during their end-of-life journey. Hospice care is not about curing the disease, but rather about alleviating the patients' symptoms and enhancing their quality of life. The interdisciplinary team works closely with the patients and their family to ensure that the patients' wishes and preferences are respected and that they receive care that is tailored to their unique needs.
