I wanted to share a post about the " Ideal Time" for 3D/4D and challenges we may see.Ideal time for 3D is 28-32 weeks. You can see below baby at 29 weeks had limited fluid in front of her face, face pressed up against the placenta. We only saw a few fingers in 3D.Next image is at 39 week and baby has plenty of fluid in front of the face and not snuggled up against the placenta. We got great images at 39 weeks.Message to this long post is.... The ideal time sometimes does not work out like we hope. Mom is coming back in a few weeks and we hope baby has more fluid and not snuggled up to the placenta.Anytime after 35 weeks babies start to have less room and it's more challenging to get 3D images.In this case, this baby was ready to shine.Every ultrasound is different due to fluid, position, placenta. I will do everything I can to get the best images.
