Our Youth Sports Performance is back for a limited time next week!

These hour-long sessions will run Monday, November 24 - Wednesday, November 26 from 10am - 11am.

This class is for athletes ages 9-12 who are looking to keep moving during the holidays, with an emphasis on speed and agility training.

No matter your sport, we’re ready to help you gain the strength and confidence to dominate in your sport.

Trying something new, especially as adults, can be... unnerving.

Let’s be honest, nobody wants to look like they don’t know what they’re doing. But the beauty of coming to a class with awesome coaches is that you can learn something new and actually get better at it.

Coaches go the extra mile to drill technique. And drilling technique is important for building correct muscle memory. Why? Why can’t we just go for it?

Turns out, when you get tired while cycling the barbell or stringing together pull ups, we tend to rely on that muscle memory to keep going.

If that muscle memory isn’t fine tuned, we can develop inefficiencies or bad habits that reduce our max capacity.

Make it count and ask your coach for feedback! Because we think you can learn something new at any and every stage.

We want to help you train smarter.

Fitness here is based in functional movement patterns.

What do we mean?

We mean that the exercises we do here will directly translate into feeling strong in all the things you do outside of the gym.

The squat is the perfect example.

Sure, having a strong squat can be beneficial in your athletic performance, but it’s also great for stability and core strength among other things.

Here's an example of different squat variation our athletes use at the Training Room:

We know everyone comes to us with different levels of experience, previous injury history, and comfort levels. Our goal is to find the modality (squat variation) that best fits you. You don’t have to perform the same squat variation as the person next to you in order to get a fantastic workout.

“I was looking for a group class atmosphere. From the first class I attended, I’ve felt supported and encouraged. The instructors are genuinely interested in helping you achieve your fitness goals. They are eager to provide instruction and modifications to any workout, taking consideration of your fitness level and/or injuries. The community of people who train there are also very welcoming and encouraging! Lastly, the workouts are constantly evolving, so I never feel like I’m not making progress.”

We’ve all felt like we’ve been stuck in a rut at some point.

We try something new. It’s amazing. And then suddenly all of that progress we saw early on slows down. Or worse, stops entirely.

That’s why we’ve got constantly varied workouts and amazing coaches. To help you push past those plateaus and see what you’re really capable of.

We want to take a moment to highlight this group of athletes.

We just wrapped up week 2 of our strength and conditioning with the Chapelle Softball team.

While Coach Jonathan usually trains them at the school, we were presented with the opportunity to train them here at The Training Room.

And as usual, these girls got after it.

These girls have been showing up focused and are absolutely crushing it. We can’t wait to watch all of this hard work pay off on the field and beyond.

To achieve any goal, you have to be consistent.

But you also need something else; aggressive patience.

We know these things are true:
- You CAN do it.
- It will take time.
- You need to be patient.
- You are going to get frustrated.
- You won't get there if you just wait for things to happen.

You can't expect to accomplish any goal if you don't put in the necessary work to make it happen.

Learning how to work while you wait is where the magic happens. And we put in a lot of work here.
