Exams are almost over and winter break is fast approaching...

That's why we're bringing back our Youth Sports Performance Classes for the upcoming holiday break.

This class is for athletes ages 9-12 who are looking to keep moving during the holidays, with an emphasis on speed and agility training.

These hour-long sessions will run December 22, 23, 26, 29, 30, and January 2 from 10am - 11am.
Cost is $200 for all 6 or $35 per session.

“Should I take a break from booze?”

Have you ever asked yourself this question?

Maybe your consumption is "moderate".

But boozy beverages seem to show up a lot in life... especially around the holidays.

Maybe we like having a beer to mark the end of a work day. Maybe on Friday we get fancy with a cocktail. Something to celebrate? Pour a little champagne. Crappy day? That Chardonnay or Cabernet will soften the edges a little bit.

The drinks can start to add up.

If we consider ourselves healthy people, alcohol is easy to justify. We exercise. We try to eat nutritious food. If we’re getting coaching, we know we’re working on our stuff.

But still. Some of us wonder… Are we OK? Are we justifying something we shouldn’t? Are we pretending craft beer or red wine is a health food because it’s artisanal or full of antioxidant something-something?

"Having PTs on site is a game changer. We have constant access to informed workout modifications to prevent further injury, quick consults about a problem body part, and our warmups are all centered on safely activating the muscle groups we’re targeting that day.

The programming and coaching staff is top notch, too. Highly skilled with lifelong experience, and FUN coaches put serious focus on form to help you prevent injuries in the first place.

And my fellow athletes are the best. I’ve never once felt intimidated around this group. It IS hard to start at a gym and see the incredible ability of other athletes when you’re a raw beginner. But, they’ve all been so welcoming and sooo helpful when they see me struggling or unsure. Everyone really supports each other here. It’s really the best."
