We are thrilled to welcome Jasmine Washington, BCBA to our BBG Family! Read on to learn about Jasmine and the services she provides!
Jasmine is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst that will be serving families in Jefferson Parish. Born and raised in Gonzales, Louisiana, she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Health Systems Management with a concentration in Care Coordination from Southeastern Louisiana University in May 2020. Jasmine began her journey in Applied Behavior Analysis in 2018 as a line technician, where she discovered her passion for supporting children and families through individualized, compassionate care.
Motivated by her desire to make a meaningful difference, Jasmine pursued her Master’s degree at Capella University and relocated to Dallas, Texas to further her education and hands-on training in ABA. She became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in October 2023. She looks forward to returning to Louisiana to serve families and the community that helped shape who she is today.
Jasmine strongly believes in compassionate, assent-based ABA practices and prioritizes creating a safe, trusting, and supportive environment for every child. She values collaboration with caregivers and works closely with families to ensure goals are meaningful, respectful, and aligned with each child’s unique needs. Jasmine has extensive experience in early intervention, particularly with children ages 2–8 in clinic-based settings, and has also provided services in home, school, and community environments for individuals ages 2–21. She is passionate about helping children grow and thrive in every environment.
