We would like to welcome to the team Taylor Decorte, M.S, CCC-SLP! She is one of our new Speech Therapists here at Brennan Behavior Group! Read on to learn about Taylor and the services she provides!
Taylor Decorte is a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist who received her bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2021 and earned her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology in 2024. During her first year of graduate school, Taylor worked as a behavior technician in an Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) setting, where she developed a strong foundation in supporting neurodiverse children.
Taylor has experience working with the pediatric population in both school and private practice settings, serving children with a variety of communication needs. She is especially passionate about working with neurodiverse individuals and is committed to providing individualized, functional communication support.
Her clinical interests include augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), receptive and expressive language development, social communication skills, childhood apraxia of speech, and articulation/phonological disorders. Taylor utilizes a naturalistic, play-based, and child-led approach to therapy, focusing on building communication skills through meaningful interactions and everyday routines.
Originally from Slidell, Louisiana, Taylor values building strong, collaborative relationships with the families she serves. Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality family time outdoors with her two boys.
