⭕️ INTERPROXIMAL RECESSION ⭕️
Here’s a case with class 3 Miller recession. Essentially we have lost interproximal bone and soft tissue.
In this case however, we have a one-wall vertical defect that we are going to attempt to graft. These cases can be challenging in my opinion to restore the soft tissue deficit. Here’s what we did:
⭕️ We utilize a coronally advanced flap incision design with one vertical incision
⭕️ Intrabony defect is thoroughly cleaned and root surface is cleaned utilizing SCRP
⭕️ We graft the defect using FDA covered by a collagen membrane
⭕️ Lastly we utilize a rotated palatal pedicle to build up the interproximal soft tissues, and to also cover the labial recession on the right central incisor
⭕️ Coronally advanced flap is sutured utilizing 6-0 nylon and 6-0 glycolon
