April 30th is National Therapy Animal Day 🐾💙

Last year, our founder and occupational therapist, Kimberly Bradley, received an official proclamation from Jefferson Parish recognizing this day to bring awareness to the powerful role therapy animals play in healing and connection.

We are so thankful to Jefferson Parish for supporting this recognition and helping highlight the importance of this meaningful work.

Therapy animals support emotional regulation, reduce stress, and create meaningful moments of comfort for children, families, veterans, and seniors through Animal-Assisted Interventions (AAI).

We are especially grateful for Pet Partners and the incredible therapy animal teams serving communities across the U.S. — including right here in Metairie — for the impact they continue to make every day.

Earth Day brings a special moment to celebrate our planet, but at Kim4Kids, our little learners show love for the Earth all year long 🌍💚

During Earth Day, our kids spent time watering plants, collecting flowers, and creating nature-inspired arts and crafts 🌱🌸🎨 Through hands-on activities like exploring real plants and turning natural materials into artwork, they connected with the beauty of nature while learning the importance of caring for the world around them.

At Kim4Kids, we love creating meaningful learning experiences that build creativity, responsibility, and a deeper love for the environment through play and exploration. ✨
