What’s for Christmas lunch at Misty Meadows today? Ham, sweet potatoes, cream corn, green beans, deviled eggs, hot roll and choice of red velvet cheesecake, cinnamon roll cheesecake or coconut pie. Also a Christmas gift as well as a Christmas gift for the Veterans from the American Legion!!

Loading the bus to see the Christmas lights at Noble Park. Then back home for Christmas cookies and eggnog! It was so much fun. We even sang Christmas songs and enjoyed stories. Thank you to our bus driver and her daughter who even colored us a picture!

Massac Co High School basketball players spent their Sunday afternoon playing Bingo and hanging out with the Residents of Misty Meadows! What a great group of young men. They exhibited great manners, kindness and were attentive to our Residents. A good time was had by all! The Residents are still talking about how much fun they had! We wish these athletes a winning season and everyone commented that the coaches, teachers and especially the parents deserve a pat on the back for raising such wonderful young men! Great job guys! They do our school and community proud! Go Patriots!
