Debbie Ann Loven

It is with heavy hearts that we celebrate the life of a woman who filled every room and every life with beauty, warmth, and joy. Debbie Ann Loven, 69, of Karnak, passed away and went to be with the Lord on March 31, 2026, surrounded by friends and family.

She was born on September 16, 1956, the daughter of Joan (Staton) and Bill Oliver. She married David Keith Loven on December 31, 1983. Debbie is survived by her husband of 42 years, Keith Loven; stepfather, Bill Carrell; brother, Stanley Oliver, step-brothers Gary Carrell and wife Mary, and Tommy Carrell and wife Becky; son, Mason Riepe and wife Susan; grandchildren, Taylor, Nathaniel, and Kinsley Riepe; bonus sisters in Christ Diane Leonard and Diana Swinford, and several aunts, uncles, and nieces. Debbie was preceded in death by her mom, Joan Carrell.

Debbie had a long career as a phlebotomist, working at Massac, Western Baptist, and Lourdes Hospitals.

Funeral services will be held at Waldo Baptist Church on Saturday, April 4, 2026. The family will receive visitors from 10:00-12:00, with the funeral following at noon. Reverends Jack Russel, Trad York, and Nathaniel Martin will be presiding over the service. Burial will be at Anderson Cemetery in Boaz at the conclusion of the service.

Debbie found happiness in life’s simple pleasures: the laughter of family gathered close, or the thrill of a new adventure. She loved hiking, camping, and traveling, always eager to explore new places and create lasting memories. Her greatest joy was her family, especially her beloved grandbabies. She poured her heart into creating magical moments for them, planning fun activities, sharing traditions, cooking delicious meals, and making each child feel deeply loved and special. To them, she was not only a Granny but a source of endless fun, comfort, and inspiration.

At the center of her life was her unwavering faith and deep love for Jesus. She was a true prayer warrior, faithfully lifting up her family, friends, and even strangers in prayer. Her love for her church was evident in the way she served, showed up for others exactly when she was needed, encouraged others, and lived out her faith daily. She carried a quiet strength and peace that could only come from her trust in the Lord, and she shared that light with everyone she met.

Even in the face of a terminal illness, she chose to live fully and intentionally. She met each day with courage, determination, and a spirit that refused to be dimmed. She continued to celebrate life, cherish her loved ones, and create beauty wherever she could, leaving behind a legacy of strength, resilience, and grace.

She will be remembered for her boundless love, adventurous spirit, steadfast faith, and remarkable ability to make life look both beautiful and effortless. Her presence was a gift, and her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Debbie’s giving spirit continues even in her death. She requested that donations be made to a charity or organization that honors the Lord in lieu of flowers.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Aikins-Farmer-Loftus-McManus Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made at www.aikinsfarmer-millerfh.com
