✨🐦 👵🏻🧓🏻👴🏼We’re CHIRPING with excitement at Southern Manor at Candler! 🐦✨👵🏻👴🏼🧓🏻
Our brand-new bird aviary has officially arrived, and our residents are absolutely delighted by this beautiful new addition to our facility!
Inside the aviary are four sweet feathered friends—two Chefs Tail Finches from Africa and two Zebra Finches from Australia! Typically these birds will only live 2 years in the wild…and by caging them we extend their little lives by 10+ years!

We are so excited to see the excitement and joy these little guys will bring to our residents!

✨ 🎄Celebrating Christmas at SMC 🎄✨

What a fun and festive night at SMC! Last week, we celebrated Christmas with our SMC annual Christmas Party 🎉🎅🏼💚❤️
Our residents, their families, volunteers, friends, and staff all gathered together for a fun filled night!
Even Santa himself made it from the North Pole just in time for a special visit to spread a little extra joy! 🎅
It was such a special evening, and a sweet time to reflect on the true meaning of Christmas: the birth of Jesus and the love, hope, and joy He brings into our lives. ✨
Thank you to everyone who helped make this night a huge success!

We had so many volunteers who came out and decorated our residents’ doors. Every single door turned out absolutely beautiful, and it truly meant so much to them!!
Your time, creativity, and kindness made our halls shine a little brighter this season. ❤️🎄

ADOPT A DOOR! At SMC….come join us and make one of our precious residents feel festive and special by decorating their room door for the holidays!! This was a huge success last year and we are thrilled to see all the new door themes this year!!

🤍📖Yesterday, we were blessed to have Chaplain Dr. Carlos Wright Jr. visit Southern Manor at Candler for Bible Bingo!
He closed out our time together by singing Amazing Grace — and his voice was absolutely beautiful! 📖🤍
