That’s our Brandi Allen Jones. So proud of who she is and all she does!
🌸 **Women’s History Month Spotlight** 🌸
Some leaders help people build careers.
Some help build confidence.
And some help families build futures — one goal, one milestone, and one life-changing decision at a time.
Today, we are proud to feature **Brandi Jones, VP of Lending at Centex Citizens Credit Union** — a woman whose work is centered on service, education, and helping others achieve the dreams that matter most.

Centex Citizens Credit Union is built on a simple but powerful vision — helping people meet their financial needs while serving those who may feel overlooked by traditional financial institutions. From everyday banking to major life purchases, the credit union focuses on relationships, education, and guidance every step of the way.
As VP of Lending, Brandi oversees the loan department, working closely with members on mortgages and lending solutions that help turn goals into reality. But for her, lending isn’t just about numbers — it’s about people and the stories behind every loan application.
Her inspiration to step into leadership came from a deep desire to help others achieve their financial goals while educating them along the way. Helping people understand their options — and watching them succeed — is what drives her every day.
Something many people may not know?
Her journey didn’t begin in lending at all. Brandi originally started in bookkeeping when she was first hired — proving that growth often happens when you’re willing to learn, evolve, and say yes to new opportunities.
Some of her proudest moments come not from titles or recognition but from watching members reach major milestones: buying a home, purchasing a car, paying off debt, and seeing their lives improve because they had someone walking alongside them through the process.
Because financial decisions can be overwhelming — and having someone in your corner makes all the difference.
Outside of work, Brandi gives back in countless ways. She volunteers and actively supports local organizations and events including the Mexia Women’s Friday Club, Limestone County Area Go-Texan, Groesbeck Ag Boosters, and the Mexia Rodeo, while also showing up for many other community efforts. Her belief in community involvement is simple — be present, be involved, and support the people around you.
Her advice to women wanting to start a business is honest and encouraging:
✨ *It’s not always easy, but it’s worth it.*
Her leadership style reflects the teamwork mindset she lives by:
*Leading by example while working together — because it takes many hands.*
And the one thing she believes everyone should know right now?
💙 **Great customer service still matters.**
In a world where personal service can feel rare, Brandi is committed to making sure every member feels seen, heard, and cared for.
When asked what being a woman in business means, her answer beautifully combines strength and compassion:
“It means combining knowledge with a nurturing personality to help guide people through tough, life-changing financial decisions — and being a role model for the next generation of women leaders.”
Outside of the office, Brandi is a sweet tea fan and proud night owl who enjoys unwinding by spending time with her family feeding and spoiling cows — a reminder that life’s best moments are often the simple ones. She loves supporting local businesses like Jones Funeral Services, where she also dedicates time helping provide compassionate care for families in need. The best advice she carries with her?
*Be involved, stay active, and let people get to know you.*
🌸 This Women’s History Month, we celebrate women like Brandi — leaders who serve with heart, lead with purpose, and help build stronger futures for the families and communities around them.
Thank you, Brandi, for all you do for Mexia.
