In Loving Memory
Patricia A. Wolever-Lamson
January 7, 1937 - October 12, 2025

NEW HAVEN, NY - Patricia A. Wolever-Lamson, affectionately known to family and friends as “Pat,” passed away comfortably and with family on October 12, 2025, in New Haven, New York, at the age of 88.

Born on January 7, 1937, in Oswego, New York, Pat was the daughter of the late Lyle Cole and Esther Robarge. From an early age, she displayed the qualities that would come to define her life—generosity, empathy, and resilience. Pat’s vibrant personality shone through in every facet of her life, as she continuously gave of herself to those around her, offering guidance, faith, and unconditional love.

Pat’s family was the cornerstone of her life. She is survived by her children Thomas Wolever, Laurie Holley, and David Wolever; her brother William Cole; and many extended family members and close friends who will forever carry her memory in their hearts. She was predeceased by her beloved husbands, George Wolever and later, Roger Lamson; her devoted parents, Lyle and Esther, and her cherished youngest daughter, Susan Wolever.

Outside of her family, Pat found true joy in life’s simple pleasures. She had a lifelong love of music and could often be found singing along to her favorite songs or attending local performances. She was an exceptional cook, known for bringing comfort and nourishment to those lucky enough to gather around her table. A spirited fan of NASCAR and all things sports, Pat found excitement in competition and camaraderie, celebrating both victory and effort in equal measure, her energetic enthusiasm keeping her forever young at heart.

Throughout the joys and challenges of life, Pat found strength and community through her faith. As an active member of the United Baptist Church of Scriba, she gave selflessly of her time and energy, always eager to support those in need and to share in fellowship and prayer. Her belief in compassion and connection reflected the very best of her character, and her church family remembers her for her devotion and quiet acts of service that continue to enrich the many lives she touched.

Though her earthly journey has ended, Pat’s warm spirit lives on through those who had the privilege of knowing her. She was a woman who led by example—kind yet strong, steadfast yet open-hearted. Her life was one of love in action—a life that will continue to touch others for generations to come.

As we celebrate the life of Patricia A. Wolever-Lamson, may we find comfort in the words she loved and lived by:

“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.” – 1 Corinthians 13:4–8.

Funeral Service Information will be as follows:

Relatives and Friends are invited to a Memorial Service at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 1, 2025, from the United Baptist Church of Scriba, 5111 NY-104, Oswego, NY.

February 9, 1941 - October 11, 2025

MEXICO, NY - The shining light has gone out for a longtime resident of Mexico, NY. Don was a husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and loyal friend to many. He passed away peacefully at home at the age of 84 with his loving family by his side. He was born February 9, 1941 in Arthur, NY, the last of 12 children of George and Jeanette Ladd. He learned early in life that hard work paid off by cleaning barns, doing hay, and picking apples to earn money in the 1950s. By his teens Don started fixing cars and found a passion for mechanical repair, the challenge of taking something broken and giving it new life. This evolved into an appreciation for different cars, trucks, motorcycles, tractors, and other machines that Don would carry throughout his life.

Don retired in 1992 from New Venture Gear after 30 years of employment. This gave him time to enjoy his passions which included farming, fishing, going to car shows, maintaining his home and property, as well as many other outdoor activities.

Don is survived by: his loving wife of 46 years Susan Ladd (nee Kramer); daughter Jodi (Timothy) Gorman with their children Adora and Timmy; and son Donald J. (AnnMarie) Ladd; also by children from a previous marriage, Dennis (Peggy) Ladd, Kristen (Ed) Vosburgh, Brian (Ruta) Ladd, Andrew (Charlotte) Ladd, Scott Ladd, Darla (Edward Swan) Ladd, Jennalyn (Dana) Johnson, along with many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and eleven siblings.

A special thank you to his nephews Randy and Victor for always checking in and being there for him.
