Calling all Celiacs - get on board and contact your local representative today!!!

UPDATE: Since being introduced by Rep. Tim Ryan [D-OH], The Gluten in Medicine Disclosure Act of 2019, H.R. 2074, has gained 29 cosponsors. If the bill is passed, it would amend the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act to require gluten be labeled in all medications.

A representative from Congressman Ryan's office recently reached out to Beyond Celiac with the following instructions for contacting your representative and getting them to cosponsor the bill:

1. Call, write, or email your members of Congress urging them to cosponsor the bill. Include a personal story
2. Set up district meetings as members of Congress are back home during recess
3. Attend local events and talk to the member of Congress and their staff at the events urging them to cosponsor
