When I first met Jane Doe, she was referred to me because she had fractured her upper right side tooth. After briefly examining her I asked her, if she would smile for me..
and what she did was a closed mouth smile.

I insisted that she would smile big, and she told me that she never liked her smile and she had learned not to smile with her teeth showing, upon my insistence she mustered up a slightly open lipped smile.

I explained to her that smiling is like riding a bike, once you do it once, you can always go back to it and you will know exactly what to do.

You just have to have the vision and reverse engineer every step. The results brought her such self confidence she was learning to smile beautifully all over again… 😁
