“Any expert, when asked how they attained their goal answers, ‘Through concentration.’ Practitioners of should keep this in mind and strive to develop concentration and ultimately steadiness of mind. Any particular focus for meditation can encompass all others because there is only one mind gazing out onto the different fields of meditative awareness.

Variations in technique stem from the use of different focal points to concentrate the mind on impressions received from one of the five senses. Psychology tells us that one cannot concentrate well on a task one doesn’t like. Liking creates attraction, and only attraction can make attention steady. Experiment and use whatever ways are effective to achieve the state of meditation.”

Bhakti cultures and refines emotions and transforms them into the all-transforming power of devotion. Faith is inherent in every human heart. True love gets aroused. Subtly, you become ever-attentive on the divine Self seated in every soul. In association with enlightened sages, you get showered by blessings and feel the force of benevolence acting in your favor. But when life events appear challenging or sour to your ego, you need even more STRENGTH.

Pray for the SHAKTI so that you make the body balanced and physically healthy so that it no longer cries out for attention while you meditate. Pray for the mental energy to sit there and outlast your distractions. Pray for your spirit to recognize its invincibility and realize that you have a reservoir of spiritual strength to lift yourself up from egoistic turmoil and pierce the veils of illusions.
