Open Faced Turkey Club Sandwich 🥪 for lunch........Not!! 😅. I'd like share a quick and easy way to eat lunch like this even while travelling 🚗 🚎 ✈️🛥️
This is my clean version.
- it contains NONE of the following:

• 🚫processed bread = refined sugars + gluten
• 🚫mayonnaise = fat
• 🚫bacon = fat
• 🚫cheese = fat

This lunch is 99% fat free!!

This Turkey Breast is 99% fat free, no hormones, no antibiotics. It's actually from Kirkland-a Costco Brand. I buy the entire smallest breast, usually $16, slice myself whenever I need. Sliced meat from your deli counter or grocery store contain Nitrates, chemicals, preservatives. This turkey has none of that!

🥬 Of course, instead of bread, I use cold crispy Romain Lettuce! It's so tasty! I like to add Cilantro and perhaps lime spritz!

🥑 Avocado is the HEALTHY FAT!! I love the healthy fat from Avocado not to mention that most of the carbohydrates from avocado are fiber! Very filling and provide many vitamins and minerals!

🥦 Plain steamed veggies like cauliflower and Stringbeans are an excellent way to reach your fiber intake while absorbing many vitamins such as Vitamin A, C and K.

This lunch takes 5 minutes to prepare if you use the previous nights leftover Stringbeans and Cauliflower or any other clean vegetables.

I travel around a lot in my car. Many times I do not have time to sit down with proper 🍽️knife and fork. Because this meal is oil free, mayonnaise free, it is an excellent finger food in the car while driving. Simply put it in a to-go container and you can eat this lunch anywhere, anytime!!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

🌱🐟 Hi everybody!!! I want to share with you that today, one of my followers asked me if I am still active here. She told me how she is on her journey and seeing results ..🤩....She made me realize that she wants/needs to see more from me and that I have been beyond slacking in delivering content. So sorry about that but thanks to her 🔥ignition, I want to start here to share with you, my very easy & simple tonight's dinner (& tomorrow's leftovers 😉lunch) - No Oil, No Butter because being healthy and fit is 80% what one consumes and 20% exercise.

Let's Go!
This is a meal (dinner) made completely with no oil, no butter, nothing processed!

🟢 🟠🟢 🟰VEGETABLES- All Plain STEAMED!! No Oil, No Butter!
--- Spinach - Carrots - Asparagus -- Besides Raw, Steaming is the only cooked method to retain the most nutrients for your body.

🐟 🟰FISH Halibut Fresh, Wild Caught is best!
- to cook this recipe requires only two ingredients: chopped shallots and 1/4 cup white wine + salt & pepper. That's ALL!!!
- place chopped shallots on a glass pan, salt & pepper the halibut, place fish on top of shallots, pour 1/4 cup white wine around bottom and simply bake for 20-25 minutes per pound.

The Halibut is packed with Omega-3 good fats and protein 💪!! You can also substitute another white fish of your choice.

The leftovers provide the next days lunch 💫💫💫💫

🌍 World Pistachio Day and I just happen to be crazy about this little green gem - Pistachios!! 😃
💚 - Of all the nuts, Pistachios are the lowest in Fat and the lowest in Calories!!🎉🥳
💚 - Pistachios are one of the few vegan sources of “COMPLETE PROTEINS” - this means that they contain ALL 9 essential Amino Acids your body cannot make on its own. Proteins are made up of these essential amino acids that allow our body to rebuild muscle 💪 after workouts. They produce the right amount of vital hormones for the body to work most efficiently. Some say that Pistachios (49) have as much protein as one egg and as much potassium as a banana!

💥Did you know today February 16th is ? I just found out today and I was so excited because I happen to 🤎🤎🤎 love Almonds - Not only are they are delicious, nutritious, versatile and CRUNCHY like I like, they are are also packed with nutrients such as Vitamin E, Magnesium & Fibre! Almonds are one of the most heart-healthy foods you can find!
In addition, Almonds are a great snack you can bring anywhere on the go!! You can even use Almond Flour (pulverized almonds) in lieu of wheat flour for a gluten-free recipe!
However, my all time favourite way to eat almonds is in the form of Almond Butter!! Now, that can be misleading because there is no actual butter involved. Almond Butter is simply machine ground pure almonds. I NEVER buy almond butter in a jar. It is most likely processed containing other chemicals, preservatives or other non necessary ingredients. Eating pure and whole foods is key!
In Canada 🇨🇦 you can find this almond butter grinding machine at The Bulk Barn and in the USA 🇺🇸 you can find it at Whole Foods. Also, check health food specialty stores!
I try to portion all almond consumption to around 10 whole almonds or 1.75 TBLSn per day. You can put it on a stone ground wheat cracker or on celery!!

P.S.: When Flying ✈️, DO NOT travel with more than 3oz of almond butter, because like yogurt, (TSA) Security will confiscate it from you because they consider it a liquid 🤷‍♀️

☀️ Good Morning!! 💫Rise and Shine to another beautiful day!! Some fiends have asked me to tell them what I eat for breakfast. And some have asked me if I practice intermittent fasting to lose weight....
Here are the answers to both questions followed by the story why.

🔹First off I start my day with my one and only daily double espresso - no milk, no sugar. Before my fitness journey I drank a Cappuccino and sometimes followed by a full glass of whole milk- whoa!!
I 🤍love whole milk but dairy milk contains high amounts of fat. So I took the small step to eliminate the fat from my daily routine. (I never used sugar in coffee) By eliminating sugar and fat from your daily coffee routine, you will be able to start eliminating extra unwanted weight. Every little bit counts!

🔹I don’t practice intermittent fasting on purpose, I have been doing it since I was a young girl, before the term was even coined. I start eating when I feel hungry. It could be 11:00am or 14:00.
One of my earliest recollections at 4 years old is what my mother made for me breakfast. I never wanted any breakfast.
She was worried that I, her 1st child, didn’t eat very much. Waking up in the morning I had no desire whatsoever to eat anything! And I still don’t. Even when the phrase “Breakfast is the most important meal of the day” came about, I just couldn’t manage to force myself to eat “breakfast”. 🤷‍♀️🤮
- So my mother devised a plan to incorporate protein in my breakfast. She offered me what the described as a delicious chocolate milk. However, I caught on early that she made my Chocolate Milk in a blender and added an egg 🥚 to it. 😱. I think she then heated it in a pot.
- Well I was having none of that. I saw those white floaties on top of my chocolate milk and knew there was egg in there! I despised eggs and I wasn’t hungry! So distraught, my mother expressed her concern to my paediatrician, and he told her, “Don’t worry, when she’s hungry, she’ll eat”.
And that’s pretty much the way I am now. However, if I DO happen to eat anything in the morning, it would be scrambled eggs very dry 😅!!

FOOD ——REWARD:
“I worked out/trained hard today, it’s ok if I have a piece of... cake, or I can order a small ice cream..., I worked for it💪”
“It’s ok, I’m going to workout tomorrow, I can have a little sweet treat”
“I exercised and ate well all week, I can enjoy a treat (cheat day) on the weekend”

-EXERCISE ——PUNISHMENT:
“Oh boy, I had that cake last night, I need to work it off tomorrow”
“Omg, I ate so much tonight, I need to go to the gym tomorrow, I need to go running.., etc...”
“I was at my mom’s last weekend and she made me eat too much, now I have to work it off”
🤨Thinking that you can either reward yourself with food or punish yourself for eating it is not my clean eating “LIFESTYLE”.
My mentality is to nourish my body with with whole foods that provide natural nutrients minerals and vitamins.

Exercise facilitates a feeling of tight muscles and invigoration! Trust me, exercise, working out, pumping blood to the muscles will make you feel amazing, better yet, amazing in those jeans shorts!! 🤩.
