Our Declarative Language Workshop was more than a morning of learning.It was a shared space to slow down, reflect, and truly be seen.

Together, we explored how declarative language shifts communication from compliance to collaboration, from pressure to presence.

Through a practical framework, caregivers explored how declarative language communicates safety to the nervous system, helping children regulate, engage, and connect from a place of trust rather than demand.

Parents shared their stories with honesty and courage, finding comfort in realizing they weren’t alone in either the challenges or the beauty of raising differently wired children.

This is what community looks like:uplifting one another, learning side by side, co-regulating, reflecting, and remembering that healing begins with connection.

Now enrolling for our fall social group, Seeds of Friendship 🌱✨

Formerly known as Connect and Play, our drop-off social group—offered in collaboration with —welcomes children ages 5–10 into a space where they can connect, create, and grow at their own pace.

Through play, nature, art, and shared experiences, every child is supported in the way that feels best for them.

Every other Saturday, kids have the opportunity to build friendships, explore independence, and practice regulation in a low-pressure, affirming environment where their voice and choices matter.

With over 12 years of experience supporting homeschooling families in Miami, Kate brings a calming presence and a deep respect for every child’s rhythm.

Kate has worked with homeschoolers and their families in Miami for a little over 12 years. She creates nurturing, adaptable environments for connection and growth.

Fostering community while tailoring each group to its unique energy, Kate weaves her love for singing, art, reading, nature, movement, and exploration into every session.

This month’s workshop is inspired by the mystical, abstract, and nature-inspired works of Hilma af Klint.

Children will create in a sensory-friendly, therapist-led environment that encourages freedom of expression and celebrates each child’s unique voice.

Ines and Fabi support learning through play, connection, and exploration—helping children engage meaningfully at their own pace. Whether they are providing support during a group activity or co-regulating during transitions, their presence helps make Mustard Seed feel safe, joyful, and supportive for every child.
