Retinoids ARE NOT a replacement for Botox ‼️

Retinoids help with texture, tone, collagen, and overall skin quality, but once you start to see etched-in lines (or actually before those lines sink in if I will be honest), that’s your Botox cue. Wrinkles only deepen over time, and no amount of over-the-counter retinol is going to stop muscle movement.

For me, it’s never retinoids OR Botox.
It’s retinoids AND Botox for long-term skin quality, collagen health, and aging gracefully on your own terms.

Let’s not villainize or any skincare brand 🤍
You can develop an allergy or sensitivity to an ingredient at ANY POINT in your life, even if you’ve never reacted before. That’s biology, not bad formulations!

We’re all snowflakes when it comes to skin: unique, reactive in different ways, and sensitive to different ingredients. One person’s holy grail can be another person’s irritant, and that’s normal.

Before you declare a brand unsafe, remember, it’s usually about your skin, not the entire product line. If you’re reacting, talk to a dermatologist so we can pinpoint the ingredient, not the company! 👩🏼‍⚕️
