We had a wonderful time with our second 1st–2nd grade group workshop at Saint Kevin ! 💛

This session was all about respect — learning the many ways we can show kindness to others every day. We explored how important it is to include others, share special moments, take turns, and make everyone feel like they belong.

The students practiced these skills through two fun and engaging games that helped bring our conversation to life. It was beautiful to watch them encourage one another and put respect into action!

As always, Charlie soaked up all the love and gentle care the children shared with him. 🐾 His calm presence helps remind us how powerful kindness can be. We finished with our gratitude circle where every kid said what they are grateful for.

We are so grateful for the opportunity to remind these students how truly special they are — and how special they are to each other.

Charlie Brown and I work together to support children’s emotional well-being through life coaching and the calming presence of a certified therapy dog.

Our sessions help students learn how to:
• Manage big feelings
• Build confidence and self-awareness
• Practice calming and coping skills
• Feel safe, supported, and understood

Through connection, compassion, and a few happy tail wags, children are reminded they are capable and valued. 💙

💚🐕We had a wonderful time with our second group of 3rd–5th grade students at St Kenvin !💚

We talked about what causes big feelings, stress, and moments of overwhelm, and we focused on discovering how the🦋 Butterfly Hug can help us through those moments. After watching a short video, the students learned about the many benefits of pausing and refocusing on what helps us feel better.

🥰🐕💚Each child received a special list of positive affirmations they can read every night after pausing, breathing, and practicing the Butterfly Hug technique. We talked about an important reminder: we always have a choice in how we respond to our feelings.

They also received a mini Charlie, a sweet reminder of how special they are—and a gentle cue to pause whenever they need it.💚💚🐕💚💚

We are truly grateful for all the love and support that make these moments possible. 💚🦋🐕

💚🐕💫We had a wonderful first workshop of the new year with our 3rd–5th grade students! It was so special to see them again and reconnect.

This workshop focused on learning how to 😊PAUSE—and how to do it using a very special technique called the Butterfly Hug🦋. This simple yet powerful tool reminds us to slow down, tune in to our feelings, and understand that every feeling matters.🥰

The students learned how to identify their emotions, recognize when life or homework feels overwhelming, and give themselves permission to pause. We also talked about priorities and how it’s okay to say no when it’s necessary.🙏💚🐕

Each child colored their own🦋 butterfly as a reminder of the workshop and of how much they love and value themselves. They also received a mini Charlie🐕—a little furry friend to help them remember to pause—and a special list of affirmations to read at night with their families.

We ended our workshop with a gratitude circle and a very special celebration… 🎉

How special it was to visit my daughter Cristina’s class with Charlie and the Grinch! 💚🎄🐕
The children were absolutely adorable in their Grinch outfits and had the best time watching Charlie show off his tricks in his Grinch PJs 💚🐕🐾✨
So many smiles and so much joy all around!🥰
