frozen yogurt is in season all year long

the easiest little Greek yogurt chocolate bites with 5g of protein per bite and lots of great nourishment for the microbes, free of refined sugars❣️

2 cups chopped fresh strawberries
1 cup vanilla Greek yogurt
1 Tablespoon maple syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1-2 tbsp chia seeds
1 cup chocolate chips
1 1/2 Tablespoons coconut oil

1. Chop the strawberries and mix into the yogurt along with maple syrup, chia , and vanilla.
2 Line a 9x13” baking sheet with parchment paper and dollop the yogurt mixture on to the pan, keeping a round shape if possible.
3 Place in the freezer for about 1 hour.
4 Melt the chocolate chips and coconut oil together in a skillet on low until the chocolate is very smooth and runny.
5 Use a fork to lift each yogurt bite, dip in the chocolate, and lift it out quickly, working one at a time.
6 Repeat until all of the yogurt bites are done, then set in the freezer for another 30 minutes.
7 Enjoy frozen or let them thaw for a few minutes before biting into them

you’ve been eating blueberries all wrong

blueberries already have one of the highest concentrations of antioxidants, polyphenols …things your cells and gut bacteria love

but fermentation changes things for the even better

where we ferment we AMPLIFY nutritional value making the polyphenols more bioavailable for digestion, reduce fructose, and introduce beneficial bacterium and enzymes that your gut terrain thrives on

and just like this video is 20 seconds this will take you 20 seconds to do at home:

- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- 1–2 teaspoons raw honey (optional, helps kickstart fermentation)
- 1 -2 tsp of sea salt
- filtered water to cover blueberries

Instructions:
1. you can lightly mash or throw in the jar whole the blueberries.
2. Add honey and salt.
3. Stir and place in a small glass jar.
4. Press down so berries release juice.
5. Leave 1 inch of headspace.
6. Cover loosely (or use airlock lid).
7. Let sit at room temperature 24–48 hours.
8. Once slightly bubbly and tangy, refrigerate.

They’ll keep about 1–2 weeks.

a match made in heaven 🫶

I made this loaf on a random Sunday —and I measured almost nothing, the recipe is to the best of what I could write down while eye balling everything 😂

having fun baking lowers cortisol 🤍

1.5 cups of almond flour
5 tbsp arrowroot powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
4 eggs
3 tbsp honey
1/4-1/2 cup olive oil
1.5 cups of Greek yogurt
1/2 cup lemon juice
Zest of two lemons
1/2 cup blueberries

Mix dry ingredients. Mix wet ingredients. Combine slowly and don’t over mix. Split batter into two bowls. Heat blueberries on stovetop in a little water on low until color and juices release—mix into one of the batters. Line a loaf pan with parchment paper and add both batters at a time until it’s all in the loaf pan.

Preheat oven at 350 and place on middle rack for 25-30mins—if it browns fast cover with foil.

Allow to cool before pouring over powdered cane sugar mixed with lemon zest and lemon juice for a glaze.

I’m not a matcha girlie 💁‍♀️ so this is my morning ritual …

Coffee or caffeine doesn’t have to be villainized, it can be easily supercharged to become a yummy functional beverage that can become your new daily wellness ritual 🤍

I always tell my clients, it’s not so much about the eliminations we do to get healthy but the beautiful ADDITIONS ❣️

Try to add a few of these things or all 6 to your morning brew and notice the difference in your energy, focus, hydration, and SKIN !

having a well organized meal prep with repeating ingredients so it keeps the recipes simple but nutritious is so helpful❣️
