This week we had journal club with Dr. Zobor and Dr. Kostic diving deeper into NF1 and Jalili syndrome! Swipe to see our reviewed articles.

Jalili syndrome was first identified in Gaza in 1988 via one large family that showed CRD and AI (amelogenesis imperfecta). The causative gene is CNNM4 which has a main role in Mg regulation.

Neurofibromatosis Type 1 (NF1) has an incidence of 1 in 2,000 and in 15% of cases is associated with optic pathway gliomas; however, with such variability in clinical presentation, a multidisciplinary approach is required.
