My yoga journey started back in 2018 when I tried a Core power hot yoga class for the first time thinking it was all about movement and cool poses. What I didn’t expect was to come out of that class mind blown. Mind blown at how quiet my brain was during the whole practice. Any feelings of anxiety or mental discomfort were completely erased.
Fast forward to 2020 when gyms closed back where I was living in Cali, I started practicing yoga with YouTube videos in my own living room, little did I know this was the practice that would get me through such a difficult period of time, a transformational time.
I started my yoga teacher journey as a prenatal instructor to add to my offering as a birth doula at the time and as I taught I realized how much I loved sharing the knowledge and wisdom of yoga with other women.
Although my main focus is moms, through my classes I offer this practice to ALL women because I know how life changing a consistent yoga practice is. It doesn’t happen right away, but little by little the more we show up, we start to notice shifts.
Not just the asanas, the meditation, the pranayama, the way of living. Patience. Self understanding. Introspection. Connection to God & to everything that surrounds us 🍃
