What changed 👇🏻

First photo:
• under eating throughout the day, then binge eating at night
• cardio & HIIT just to burn calories
• jumping from diet to diet
• focusing on high-protein foods (whey, egg whites, chicken, Greek yoghurt, cheese, salmon…)
• always bloated
• “skinny fat”
• seeing food as a reward

Second photo (now):
• I studied nutrition and changed to a fully raw vegan diet
• my meals are simple and structured - about 80% carbs (fruit), 10% protein (greens), 10% fat (nuts & seeds)
• I eat enough instead of restricting
• a mix of strength, cardio & HIIT at home workouts 6x a week
• Lagree training 5x a week
• no more jo-jo dieting
• no more constant bloating
• a flat stomach without restriction
• healthy relationship with food

All because I learnt how to truly work WITH my body,
instead of constantly fighting it. 🌱🤍

Fruit often gets blamed for blood sugar spikes.

But whole fruit and refined sugar are not the same.

Fresh fruit contains fiber, water, vitamins, and minerals that slow down how sugar is absorbed in the body.

Refined sugar is isolated and absorbed much faster.

Most cravings don’t come from fruit.
They come from restriction and ultra-processed foods.

Don’t be scared of fruit.

Three years ago my relationship with food was at its lowest point.

I felt completely disconnected from my body, stuck in cycles of restriction and constantly trying to control everything I ate.

Today my life looks completely different.

I feel strong, free, and genuinely confident.
Not because I eat less, but because I’ve learnt how to truly nourish my body, so it could trust me again.

That’s how I recovered and got into my best shape - without restriction.

Food shouldn’t feel complicated or control you.

“Fat makes you fat.”
One of the biggest food fears I had to unlearn.

For years, I avoided fats like the plague, thinking it would keep me lean. But I was always hungry, cold, had no period, was losing hair, and constantly stressed.

Your body needs fat for hormones, nervous system health, and actually feeling full.

Extremes aren’t the solution.
It’s quality and quantity that matter.

For years I thought losing more weight would finally make me feel confident.

So I ate less and restricted more and more. Food freedom was out of the question.

At my lowest weight, I was the unhappiest I ever was.
Always bloated, no energy, constantly thinking about food, and emotionally burnt out.

Three years later, I feel the most at ease in my skin I ever have, am in the best shape of my life -
and I don’t restrict.

And I realize, it was never about losing weight but about safety. I wanted to feel supported by my body, not be in a constant fight with it.
