Born in Yakima, WA, and now calling The Palace Suites - Independent Living Residences home for nearly three years, Carol has lived around the world, from Seattle to Sevilla. Her love for jewelry began in childhood and blossomed into her own company, , founded in 2006. If you love creativity and sparkle, you won’t want to miss this story!

Residents at The Palace Gardens were recently treated to a special visit from Miguel, Alfonso, Sebastian and Casanova, the four adorable alpacas who stole the show! For over two hours, everyone enjoyed petting them, offering treats and soaking up the joy these gentle animals brought. The laughter and excitement were contagious, and everyone is already looking forward to welcoming our furry friends back again soon!

At The Palace Renaissance & Royale, we know that caregiving doesn’t end when a loved one moves into assisted living; it simply changes. One of the most often-overlooked caregivers is the spouse who remains at home, navigating the emotional weight of that decision.

To honor and support them, we’ve created a special group called Wives Who Brunch. Every six weeks, these remarkable women gather over lunch to share stories, lift each other up and find comfort in knowing they’re not alone.

As Executive Director Ricardo Martinez shared, “Caregiving is a 24/7 responsibility, and unless someone has been through it, they can’t truly understand the toll it takes. This group provides a safe place where understanding, compassion and encouragement are always on the menu."

We’re proud to walk beside our families, not just our residents, in every step of this journey.

“Around the World” at The Palace Renaissance was a journey straight to Italy! 🇮🇹✨ Residents and families enjoyed a beautiful afternoon filled with Italian flavors - bruschetta, mini Margherita pizzas, pasta salad cups and more - paired with refreshing Virgin Bellinis, Italian sodas and an iced coffee bar. The experience came alive with beloved songs like "O Sole Mio," "Volare" and "That’s Amore" filling the room with music, laughter and joy. It was an afternoon of culture, connection and memories to savor long after the last note played.

From start to finish, Carnival Day at The Palace Renaissance was nothing short of spectacular! The morning kicked off with lively games, colorful face painting and festive clown designs that set the tone for a day of fun. As the afternoon rolled on, the celebration continued with dancing, delicious food and even more games—complete with exciting prizes. It was a joyful day filled with laughter, music and unforgettable memories. 🎶🍿🎈
